A half-day independent e-learning program which covers the theory behind PACT and begins to introduce PACT concepts. Delegates must complete Level One training before beginning Level Two
This level consists of four half-days of online training with a PACT trainer covering the core principles and the current evidence for PACT, demonstrating the model in use through video. The training also provides opportunities for practical application of the concepts through role play and small breakout discussions.
This session allows the group to reflect on their practise assessments and the trainer can provide feedback to support reaching fidelity.
Completion of Level 2 and the accompanying post-course work will qualify the professional to administer PACT.
To do this:
- Trainees must arrange 2 volunteer cases prior to starting the training. Although sessions with only 1 case is needed, having additional support ensures that the trainee will be able to complete fidelity within the 6 month period.
- Trainees must record video sessions of them delivering PACT.
- The session must cover all the areas covered in the fidelity rating.
- Once submitted, a one hour 1:1 appointment with your trainer will be arranged.
- Trainees have 2 attempt to reach fidelity.
